In Spring 2024, AppSciComm hosted an Appalachian Science Storytelling Speaker Series. Our speakers advocate for social justice in health care, author books, communicate breaking research news and write about Appalachian ecology and conservation. They shared the challenges and joys of being a science communicator in Appalachia and beyond.
