About the Event
Join us for an Earth Day tour at Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens on The Ohio State University Columbus campus! The arboretum is an extensive green reserve of over 60 acres in an urban setting. Their mission is to provide an educational environment to advance the knowledge of students in their horticultural studies and to be a resource for learning about plants for the campus community and general public.
This tour is FREE for AppSciComm members. For non-members, we ask for a $10 donation, to be paid via PayPal.
We’ll meet at 4 p.m. by the Trellis entrance (Google Maps), near the Agricultural Administration Building, at 2120 Fyffe Rd for a one-hour walking tour with Dr. Laura Deeter, the arboretum’s director. Depending on group interests, this will include the Labyrinth Gardens and arboretum, the Lane Avenue Gardens and/or the Learning Gardens across the street.
