About the Event
The Moonshot Museum is an offshoot of Astrobotic Technology, a Pittsburgh company that is working with NASA to send lunar rovers and other payloads to the Moon. The company's Griffin lander is being prepared for a mission to the Moon's South Pole sometime this year. It will carry a rover designed by Astrobotic as well as one from a California company, Astrolab.
Visitors will not only get to see examples of the lander under assembly but engage with interactive exhibits and have a Q&A session with a representative of the company.
